Who Am I?
I
grew up in Santa Rosa, California and attended U.C. Davis and
Sacramento State University. I now live in Santa Rosa with my husband,
and we are expecting our first child in August. I plan to continue my
private practice throughout and after my pregnancy. I have been a
committed Christian from a young age, attend church regularly, and feel
that my faith in Jesus Christ is an integral part of who I am both as
an individual and as a psychotherapist. I firmly believe in the
life-changing power of a relationship with Jesus and seek to
incorporate the influence of the Holy Spirit in my work with clients.
However, I also have a lot of experience counseling people who have
very different belief systems, and I follow ethical standards around
working from within a client's a own spiritual framework and not
imposing my values or beliefs on them. Personal interests include
roller-blading, soccer, reading, and spending time with my family.
